Matacuy Sour

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Matacuy
¾ oz Criollo lime juice
¾ oz simple syrup
1 egg white

METOD: SHAKEN

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and vigorously shake without ice for 10 seconds. Then add 4 ice cubes and shake for another 10 seconds. Serve in a pre-chilled glass and garnish with a chamomile flower, orange peel, or a few sprigs of spearmint or mint.

Matacuy Tonic

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Matacuy Tonic
water
Orange wedge

METHOD: DIRECT

Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour in the Matacuy, and top up with tonic water. Gently stir. Place the orange wedge in the glass.

Matacuy Yaku

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Matacuy
½ oz simple syrup
½ oz lime juice
1 oz pineapple juice
Sprigs of rosemary
Sparkling water

METHOD: SHAKEN

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the sprigs of rosemary with all the ingredients (except the sparkling water). Shake with 6 ice cubes for 10 seconds, then serve in a glass with full ice and top up with sparkling water. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary.

Apple Punch

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Matacuy
½ oz simple syrup
½ oz lime juice
2 oz apple juice

METHOD: SHAKEN

In a cocktail shaker, combine all the ingredients. Shake with 6 ice cubes for 10 seconds, then serve in a glass with full ice. Garnish with an apple wedge.

Matacuy Mule

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Matacuy
Dash of lime juice
3 oz Ginger Beer

METHOD: DIRECT

Directly add 2 oz of Matacuy and lime juice to a mug, stir, fill with ice, and top up with Ginger Beer. Garnish with a lime peel or a sprig of spearmint.
